Este método é muito utilizado em empresas que utilizam o sistema operacional Windows, sendo um software ( Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager) instalado no Windows Server para organizar, monitorar e proteger todos os computadores existentes na empresa, aprimorando o parque tecnológico da instituição. Este tutorial foi testado no Windows Server 2008, porém em outras versões (2003/2012) podem ocorrer algumas alterações no passo a passo, mas a conclusão é a mesma.

  1. Logue no servidor que está instalado o Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager e abra o Windows Explorer.
  2. Encontre o diretório onde foi instalado inicialmente, normalmente fica localizado em “Unidade:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager”
  3. Localize o arquivo “Resetpass.bat” e clique duas vezes.Neste momento a senha foi redefinida para o padrão
  4. Aguarde 15 minutos para entrar com o login acima.
  5. Após passar os 15 minutos, entre com o login padrão e redefina a nova senha.

A senha padrão do Antivírus Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager é :

  • ID: admin
  • Senha: admin

 This method is very used by companies which have the operating system Windows, and it´s a software (Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager) installed in the Windows Serve to organize, to monitor and to protect all the computers existing in the company, improving the institution`s technological park. This tutorial was tested in the Windows Server 2008, however, in other versions (2003/2012), it can occur some changes in the step-by-step, but the conclusion is the same.

  1. Log in the web server where is installed the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and open the Windows Explorer.
  2. Find the directory where it was previous installed, it´s normally located in “Unidade:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager”
  3. Localize the file “Resetpass.bat” and click twice on it.
  4. In this moment, the password was reset to its standard.
  5. Wait fifteen minutes to enter with the login above.
  6. After the fifteen minutes, enter with the standard login and redefine a new password.

The standard password of the Antivirus Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager is:

  • ID: admin
  • Password: admin
