Have you lost your last document done in Microsoft Word? Know how to reduce the auto-repairing time.
This method can be used to decrease the chances of lose all your work done in Microsoft Word, due to some unexpected (Ex: lack of energy or crashed system). This method was performed on Microsoft Office 2007, however in other versions it can change the step-by-step sequency.
Remember, this method is a caution, and in case you have some unexpected during the program operation, save your document periodically.
- Open the Microsoft Word. We can find it pressing the keys “Windows + R” and typing WINWORD.EXE. Press Enter.
- In the upper left corner, click on the Office`s symbol and click on “Word`s options”.
- Click on “Save”, then click on “Save auto-repairing information on each…” and type “1”.
- Press “OK”.
- Done, now the option “automatic repairing of each 1 minute” is enabled, and with this, it reduces the chances of loosing many datas after occur some system failure.
